Schwartz & Co., a financial services company with offices in Bloomfield Hills, announced the official relaunch of its investment banking group, which will serve private and public companies as well as private equity clients.
“Schwartz & Co. has historically had a rich history in mergers and acquisitions activity, but this area of our business had become dormant as we focused on other growth opportunities. However, given favorable market conditions and growing demand, we have decided to refocus our efforts and capitalize on the expertise of Matt and the team,” says Walter Schwartz, Director of Schwartz & Co.
Matt Miller will be the manager of the revived group. The team will handle all aspects of advisory and capital markets engagements for Schwartz & Co. clients, with a particular focus on sell-side M&A advisory.
Since the relaunch, the investment banking group has successfully concluded 12 transactions.
The group’s target deal size is $10 million to $100 million. Miller and his team are industry generalists, with a track record of success in the industrial and financial services sectors. They also have extensive experience in various markets. Miller brings experience in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance and direct investing.
“Our clients have the benefit of working with a small, experienced team, with resources and support that match large enterprises,” says Miller. “We are proud of our outlier track record and anticipate a continued increase in activity as our team grows.”
